Stinky me

You know that moment, when you find that perfect stinky dead worm or that awesome smelly spot on the lawn that just screams "Roll all over me"! I found it just yesterday! I looked at mom, saw that she did not look too happy about my findings, but I thought "What the heck!"
And so I rolled....

 ...and rolled....

...until I smelled like a stinky little bug and had that wonderful, exciting, adventure whiff all over me and my collar.

Mom was not pleased and the words she used weren't those of a lady, I am telling you. And the one word that scared me the most was "shower". It always amazes me how my sweet and loving mommy can turn into Momzilla in no time. She grabs my towels from the cabinet in the basement, locks me in the bathroom, turns on the water and has no mercy with my stink.

Here you can see my best suffering face to show her how much I disrespect her decision to turn me into a well-deodorized puppy again.

But as usual, I had the last laugh and rubbed my damp, clean self all over mommy's fine white comforter! Just click on the video below!

I spy with my little eye....

...what the neighbors are doing in their kitchen. When I jump on the bed and lower my head, I can peek under the curtain and watch them.

Ready or not....I'm watching!
I have to tell mommy that she doesn't have to leave the tv on for me anymore when she goes to work. I can just sit here all day and spy on the people in the blue house. It's almost better than squirrel watching. It gets even better at night, when they have the kitchen lights on. If I look very closely, I think I can even see whats in their little food store with the light in it that mommy call "fridge".

Like a good spy, my lips are sealed!
Daddy called me a voyeur, but I don't care. People watching is great entertainment, specially, when the people are behind glass and can't yell at me for peeking!

But don't worry, neighbors, your secrets are safe with me. Remember that one day when you thought nobody saw you when you picked your nose after you came out of the shower wearing that stupid white robe and the towel turban on your head? I have only told one other dog about it, maybe two.

I stink

You can't smell it, but think dirty odors.

That’s what mom told me very bluntly last Saturday. She sniffed my neck – right where I had rub that awesome dead worm, that I found in the driveway, into my fur a few days ago– and her nose turned all wrinkled. Then she found some raccoon poop behind my ear and almost lost her mind from the smell of it. What is wrong with her? Does she not like my outdoorsy appeal? I like when I smell like adventure and camping trip and wild hunting dog. But there was no discussing it. Before I knew it, she had made me naked (took the collar off), dragged me into the bathroom, locked the door, put me in the shower and turned the hose on. I mean, we are talking about a scrub and wash, not a romantic foamy sponge bath with a squeaky rubber ducky. She scrubbed and washed and there was a grey-brown broth coming off my fur – I was afraid that she was washing all the color off of me and I would look like an albino beagle. When she finally thought that there was no more stink on me, she started to chase me with a towel.

Shiny, none stinky, got away from the bathroom.
Too bad for her: All wet, I jumped out of the shower and showed her how much disrespect I had for her behavior by shaking all over the bathroom. Ha! There was still dirt coming off and it left a nice splashy pattern on the tiles! I must have made enough of a mess, because all at once, she started yelling something like “get out of her” and I managed to escape from being water tortured and was finally free to rub myself all over the carpet – I might have picked up some ant or fly poop. You never know until it stinks.
